Termplus ApS develops and markets to customized tools building up knowledge capital and resulting in efficiency payoffs for clients. The tools are the dynamic term bank TERMplus and the web-based TERMplus Web for looking up terms.

TERMplus 5.1

From their documentation, enterprises build up a dynamic and user-friendly term base in TERMplus which consistently stores enterprises' specific language knowledge and makes it possible for all staff members to find and reuse correct and precise technical terms. By systematically describing technical terms, TERMplus creates new knowledge in enterprises and guarantees optimum use of involved parties' resources.

In its standard version, TERMplus offers the possibility of working with Danish, English, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, French, Italian and Russian. Other languages can, however, be added according to need.

TERMplus is continuously developed and maintained by selected staff members and/or in cooperation with Termplus ApS. The programme is 100% compatible with Microsoft Word. TERMplus is available with or without terminological glossaries in specific areas.

TERMplus Web

TERMplus Web has a wider user interface. TERMplus Web can be entered on intranets or on the web from where all relevant staff members can look up terms in the term bank.

Both products are completely adapted to clients' needs of developing a uniform LSP with consistent use of correct terms, phrases and translations.

TERMplus Word

Translators and scriptwriters will appreciate this plug-in for Microsoft Word. It offers excellent facilities to streamline translations and texts directly from Word and make them more effective.

You simply mark a word or a sentence in your Microsoft Word document, and TERMplus Word offers you the possibility to see which wording lives up the standard used in your company. The next step is that TERMplus Word inserts the correct wording directly into your document. Likewise, you can check any definitions, explanations and other details of the individual term.

You can search for and replace both synonyms and translations.

If you don’t find a suitable translation or term, you are offered the possibility to make a suggestion for the term to be used in the future. That facility makes it easy for translators to contribute with suggestions for formulations and synonyms. All for the benefit of your company’s term base. You no longer need to go in and out of several programmes – everything is now smoothly handled directly from Microsoft Word.
